Legal Counsel to TRATON Financial Services (Temporary position)

Service include financing for customers, dealers, and distributors as well as insurance solutions. Role Summary

As a Legal Counsel at TFS you will report to the General Counsel. You will have a tangible impact on the success of the business. You will provide legal expertise and guidance to TFS Group and face a wide variety of exciting tasks. You will be a part of an important journey and supporting the shaping up the legal function in TFS Group. You will work closely with colleagues within Group Legal and other stakeholders in TFS global organization, as well as within TRATON Group.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary job assignment will be to:

• Actively participate in projects by advising on legal and strategic issues, including legal risk assessment;
• Prepare, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents;
• Handling corporate law matters and its related paralegal support (e.g. notarization, apostille)
• Supporting new business plans and ventures with legal matters;
• Promote and support the undergoing organizational establishments and changes;
• Support in a wide variety of legal issues, such as outsourcing, service level agreements, IT agreements;
• Support the General Counsel and the Legal team in driving the development of the department in terms of work methodology, tools and strategic direction as well as trainings and presentations;
• Support on developing and administering procedures for the work of the legal function, finding new and better ways to support the business and add strategic value.

Who You Are
The person we are looking for has a degree in law, with experience in corporate law matters. Experience in the financial services, regulated market or banking industry is a differential.

We believe that you are a team player, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members and colleagues. You are stable, determined and resilient, easily adapting to change. Being self-driven and service minded are fundamental to motivate colleagues on the journey ahead. You have a business sense with law and are proactive in thinking and acting.

It is crucial that you have big passion for continuous improvement, always looking for efficient and effective solutions for the best benefit of the business operations

General competences and qualifications

• Law degree

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience

• Fluency in both written and spoken English, additional language skills are advantages

To be successful in this role you need pragmatic, a strategic thinker, and a collaborative problem solver. You have communication and interpersonal skills as well as high integrity and an open-minded approach. You are able to structure and shape your responsibilities and independently deliver on your objectives.
