Role Summary
In this high-impact role, you’ll drive the strategy, execution, and performance of one of our most important product lines, collaborating closely with Group R&D and our Brands. If you thrive at the intersection of technology, market needs, and business outcomes, this is the role for you. You will report to Head of Group Autonomous Product Management
Key Responsibilities
- Define the long-term strategy and vision for our autonomous on-road product portfolio.
- Partner with Group R&D and Brand stakeholders to understand market opportunities, analyze competition, and shape differentiated offerings.
- Build and manage clear product roadmaps with defined timelines, priorities, and milestones, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment so products meet quality, timing, and budget expectations.
- Stay plugged into emerging industry trends, evolving customer needs, and regulatory drivers.
- Translate insights into clear product decisions and strategic adjustments.
- Work closely with commercial teams across all Brands to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Track key product metrics and use data to steer product strategy, inform enhancements, and identify growth opportunities.
Who You are
- Highly knowledgeable in autonomy and on-road automation technologies.
- A product leader with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of customer and market dynamics.
- Experienced in managing complex product lifecycles and cross-functional teamwork.
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions and adjusting direction based on real-world feedback.
- A collaborative communicator who can influence, align, and inspire across diverse teams.
Location
TRATON Group Product Management has its home base in Södertälje, and the role requires significant presence both with the team and out in the field, close to our Brands, customers and key partners.

The responsibility of Group Product Management, GPM, is to balance the commercial needs with solutions for the customers and steer the funding of capabilities to reach the result defined by TRATON Executive Board.
To secure outstanding customer value we have a business and market driven product and service management organization. We have a close collaboration with the brand’s Sales & Marketing and Group R&D so that we in the best way capture the customer and business needs in our product and service development.

Group Service and Autonomous Portfolio Management takes steering responsibility for the group portfolio within the full range of services and autonomous segments for TRATON Group globally.
Autonomous Product Management sits at the intersection of customer insight, technical excellence, and commercial performance, ensuring the company builds products that support customers’ needs and drive sustainable business growth. We work close to the business, combining strategic perspective with hands-on collaboration. The team will consist of four dedicated colleagues, including the manager, and enjoys a tight and collaborative team culture.
You will be part of an international network across all TRATON brands and alliance partners. The position is located at the TRATON AB office in Södertälje, where you will work in a dynamic environment with strong links to product development, portfolio strategy, and group-wide governance.
