Product Owner for Sales Portal

As part of Sales & Marketing, the function Presales and Sales Readiness (KJ) is responsible for Scania’s sales ecosystem. With clear targets and an agile mindset, we develop and maintain user-centric applications that touch on every aspect of the sales process, from prospecting to product and service configuration to quoting. The group Solution Sales Journey (KJA) is focusing on Scania’s main presales and sales flow to provide customer solutions, including both products and services, and the applications service our Business Units and Dealers globally.
 

Your Tasks

Sales Portal is Scania’s global quotation tool enabling sales reps globally to sell Scania solutions. In the role as Product Owner, you will put a lot of your focus on the development teams, e.g. gather and refine requirements, as well as making sure we deliver high value and great solutions to the end-users. In addition, we also expect you to be the face of the products you own, not only understanding the technical details but also how they fit in with other processes and user journeys at Scania. As a member of the team, you will:


•    Collaborate closely with various user groups in Södertälje and at business units globally
•    Work closely together with a skilled team of developers, and take the lead of this team as the Product Owner
•    Work closely with other Product Owners and related roles in the ecosystem
 

Your Profile

We believe that you have:
•    Relevant University degree in e.g. Engineering/IT/Business 
•    Relevant work experience as e.g. Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Business Developer (IT background is not a requirement)

•    Structured and well-organized way of working as well as the ability to prioritize 
•    Ability to communicate with senior leaders as well as developers
•    High motivation, willingness to take own initiative as well as being a team player
•    Scania experience is meriting
•    Fluency in English
