Production Manager for Scania's Transmission Manufacturing (DX)
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. DX Transmission manufacturing is a key player in this transformation and is right now in an expansive and exciting phase where we lay the foundations for Scania's future transmission & eMobility production. In the next coming years we will launch new generations of electrified gearboxes and axle platforms, and we are continuously challenging our current way of working to ensure world-class production.
Scania Transmission Manufacturing DX are looking for a new production manager. In this position, you will lead the work towards a modern world-class manufacturing with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be part of the Transmission Manufacturing management team and you will lead a team consisting of five workshop managers who in turn lead the first-line managers. You report to the site manager
Your responsibility
We are looking for you who have the ambition to be role model and are present as a leader. As a production manager, you have overall responsibility for safety, personnel, quality, work environment, and finances within your area. You are very well acquainted with Scania's core values and leadership model and actively work with these in your daily work.
Your profile
You should have a technical education at the university level or have acquired equivalent knowledge and experience in other ways. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience from a similar position or other positions in management team is meritorious.
You should also have deep and long experience in personnel management and be well-versed in Scania's production processes and methods for managing and following up on operations. You are structured, results-oriented, have an analytical eye, and have good communication skills in both speech and writing, in both Swedish and English. Additional language skills are meritorious.

As a leader, you are engaging and recognized for your ability to further develop, inspire, motivate, and train your employees. You have strong competence in Scania Production System or equivalent and understand the strength of using standardized methods and having everyone participate in improvement work. It is natural for you to continuously challenge and strive towards the next target state.
