Project Manager - Charging and Power Distribution

Role Summary

 

We are looking for a Product Manager to shape TRATON Group’s portfolio for charging and power distribution within E-mobility. In this role, you will define cross-brand product direction and turn market needs into scalable, competitive solutions. 

You will lead product strategy and roadmaps across brands, working closely with engineering, brand organizations, and senior stakeholders in a fast-moving international setting. 

The role is based at TRATON GPM in Södertälje or Munich with global impact across all TRATON brands. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Own the group product portfolio for charging, ePTO and power distribution system, including lifecycle management and feature prioritization across brands. 
  • Prioritize requirements based on market demand, customer value, technology maturity, and business impact.
  • Sponsor cross-brand product initiatives from opportunity definition to Start of Project, ensuring needs are matured, aligned, and initiated according to ONE PDP. 
  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for charging, ePTO and power distribution ensuring the group’s solutions are aligned with long-term business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive alignment across brands, commercial planning and industrial operations.
  • Manage budget and bucket processes for the product area.
  • Apply modularization and user-factor principles to define scalable, harmonized solutions.
  • Act as business owner for Value Creation Teams in the flow landscape, driving effective governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous development of ways of working.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, brand organizations, and key stakeholders such as TRATON Charging Solutions and ERINION.
  • Contribute to the wider TRATON Group E-mobility roadmap by identifying strategic opportunities, market trends, technology developments, and cross-functional synergies.
  • Prepare decision material, analysis, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Provide input to process improvement initiatives across the Group Product Management organization, increasing efficiency, transparency, and cross-brand collaboration. 

Who You Are

 

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in product management, product planning, project management, or charging infrastructure within automotive or mobility.
  • Technical or commercial experience in the charging infrastructure ecosystem, ideally in customer-facing projects.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle architecture and E-mobility systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and build alignment across stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with experience preparing material for senior leadership.
  • Adaptable, curious, and comfortable working in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
