Regional Head of Business Control Asia and Oceania

Introduction

Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

We are looking for

Regional CFO Asia & Oceania AOR – covering the following Business Units SSEA (Malaysia & Singapore), Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and India, within Commercial Operations with the main responsibility to act as the regional hub and facilitator for all Finance and Administration related subjects in the region. 

This is achieved by a high focus on supporting the Business Units, their business and operations, requiring a coordinating approach and by managing and following up focus areas and activities within the region through a solid understanding of what is needed to improve the business on both a local and regional level. 

You will

Take up the overall regional responsibility for the Finance & Business Control Area ensuring there is a clear and globally aligned strategy and delivery plan to support and improve the operations.


You work proactively to develop, implement and follow-up processes, policies and solutions on an overall level:

  • Responsible for business performance monitoring and control 
  • Being a Board member of each BU in the region, participating in Board meetings and taking the key decisions together.
  • Run analysis and interpretation of results and KPI´s (actual, projections, market plans) 
  • Input to and coordination of the development of projections, Business plans and Market plans 
  • Investment analysis, planning, calculation and control
  • Internal control environment, steering models and signal systems (incentives)

You will also

  • Proposing and participating in developing business processes, policies and procedures
  • Consolidate and prioritise BU business needs in both Distributor and Dealer network 
  • Propose actions to improve BU working methods and standards as well as overall performance 
  • Identify and spread good practices (benchmarks) throughout the region 
  • Initiate and Follow-up of decided actions 
  • Act as the “aggregated voice” of the region at corporate level by participation in applicable meetings

You have extensive experience from a managerial position within Finance and Administration as well as an understanding of the commercial environment. A pre-requisite is to be fluent in English, other languages are a merit.
