Shape the future of Scania’s global retail network

Do you want to combine data, digital tools, and strategic

thinking to influence how Scania’s retail network develops worldwide? As a Retail Network Developer, you will play a key role in helping our Business Units design efficient, future‑proof retail networks that deliver strong customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Your mission

In this role, you support Scania Business Units across the globe in defining their retail network strategies. Through data‑driven analysis, digital tools, and close collaboration with local stakeholders, you help optimize workshop capacity, network performance, and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

As Retail Network Developer, you will work proactively with both strategy and execution:

  • Drive global network planning
    Support Scania Business Units worldwide in developing their annual and long‑term (5‑year) retail network plans. You will guide, coach, and train local stakeholders throughout the planning process.
  • Own and develop WebGis
    Act as the owner of WebGis, Scania’s GIS‑based network tool. You will:
  • Monitor maintenance and updates
  • Propose and drive tool enhancements
  • Train Business Unit stakeholders to maximize value from WebGis
  • Turn data into decisions
    Use network analysis and digital insights to support strategic decisions related to capacity, operations, and customer satisfaction

Who You Are

You are comfortable working at the intersection of IT, data, and business, and you enjoy collaborating across cultures and functions. You likely bring:

  • An IT or analytical background, such as data analysis, GIS tools, or project management
  • Experience in training, coaching, or stakeholder enablement
  • Natural leadership skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority
  • A structured mindset, combined with curiosity and a collaborative approach

You will be part of the Commercial Real Estate team, a diverse group of 11 specialists including Architects, Civil Engineers, Facility Maintenance Managers, Asset Managers, Business Controllers, and Sustainability Managers.

  • Support Scania Business Units with retail real estate and network development
  • Monitor and optimize Scania’s global building portfolio
  • Drive decarbonization of retail operations
  • Shape the long‑term development of Scania’s retail network
