SAP EWM Specialist - Battery Production

Role Summary
The automotive industry is accelerating rapidly towards electrification, and we are ramping up electric vehicle production to advance Scania’s sustainability efforts. We are building a new battery factory is equipped with fully automated production and logistics equipment. In parallel we are implementing SAP to support logistics, finance, and material planning, expected to be completed in the coming months. As our new SAP EWM specialist, you will take charge of maintaining the existing SAP implementation, provide user support, and driving projects and initiatives. The role offers opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for a service-minded individual with knowledge in SAP, MES, SCADA, and PLC systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the SAP improvement initiatives for logistics and production
- Train and support end-users tailoring guidance to specific teams, and ensuring they maximise SAP’s potential.
- Act as the go-to coordinator for resolving disruptions, managing change request, and escalating complex issues to Scania IT.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and other evaluations, delivering accurate results within deadlines.
- Translate deviations and improvement ideas into actionable functional specification in JIRA and prioritise from a business perspective.
- Lead pulse meetings to keep stakeholders aligned.

You have a relevant educational or professional background along with experience in SAP EWM/WM. Additionally, please also highlight the amount of experience you have in IT landscape in a manufacturing environment.
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and are comfortable using Office 365. But most importantly, you bring the drive, enthusiasm and willingness to grow—both personally and with your colleagues and the business.
