For the department Software Defined Scania (EG) within the newly created R&D unit Brand Identity Development (BID), we are looking for persons to build our SW-development capabilities!

About The position: 

 

We are now looking to strengthen our team with a SW developer. In this role you would work tightly together with your great colleagues, in all the phases of the software development. The work includes function specification and writing requirements, coding in C/C++ or Matlab/Simulink, and test automation in Python. You will also take part in tests in rigs and vehicles on our test track. 

 

Your Key Requirements:


•    Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded SW development, preferably within automotive industry. 
•    In-depth C/C++ programming knowledge in embedded systems.
•    In-depth python programming knowledge from embedded systems.
•    In-depth vehicle knowledge and holistic understanding of the complete vehicle.
•    Awareness of market trends and competitor analysis.
•    Versatility in handling various tasks and responsibilities.
•    Strong verbal, written, and rhetorical communication skills.
•    Genuine interest in customer needs and business acumen.
•    Experience in prototype development and software development.
•    Valid driving license passenger car (B)
•    Master of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or similar
•    Experience using AI when developing SW is meritorious.
