SW developer/tester for automotive embedded systems

For the department Software Defined Scania (EG) within the newly created R&D unit Brand Identity Development (BID), we are looking for persons to build our SW-development capabilities!

Our mission is to safeguard Scania's premium product value through customer-focused software functionality, driven by our motivated and curious employees in collaboration with Group R&D.

 

The position: 

 

We are now looking to strengthen our team with SW/Test developer competence. In this role you would work tightly together with your great colleagues, in all the phases of the software development. The work includes function specification and writing requirements, coding in C/C++ or Matlab/Simulink or Codex, and test automation in Python or similar. You will also take part in tests in rigs and vehicles on our test track. All of this is happening in truly exciting times when we are increasing speed by using AI-tools to create the customer value.  

 

Your Key Requirements:

 


•    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in embedded SW development, preferably within automotive industry. 
•    In-depth C/C++ programming knowledge in embedded systems or
•    In-depth python programming knowledge from embedded systems.
•    In-depth vehicle knowledge and holistic understanding of the complete vehicle.
•    Versatility in handling various tasks and responsibilities.
•    Strong verbal, written, and rhetorical communication skills.
•    Genuine interest in customer needs and business acumen.
•    Experience in prototype development and software development.
•    Valid driving license passenger car (B)
•    Master of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or similar
•    Experience using Codex when developing SW is meritorious.
•    Based in or willing to relocate to Södertälje
