We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with 3–5 years of experience, focusing on backend development of test- and integration solutions for automotive and embedded software applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, collaboration in cross-functional teams, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

 

Job Responsibilities

Python developer who is involved in building and maintaining robust SW testing frameworks to support the development of complex SW systems and embedded solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and configure software for automotive ECU applications


Develop and optimize Test Environments as a service(TEaaS), provide HIL test environment

Connect the SW solution configuration tools to test environments

 

Key Competence


Polyglot Programming: Full proficiency in Python with hands-on backend development experience, complemented by strong ability to understand and work with other languages such as C++ and C# for embedded and low-level systems programming.

Software Engineering Principles: Familiarity with software design patterns, SOLID principles, test-driven development (TDD), and clean code practices for building maintainable and scalable solutions.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field


Experience with real-time operating system and real-time communication protocols(e.g CAN and Ethernet)

Version Control & CI/CD: Solid understanding of version control principles with Git (GitLab or similar) and experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

SW testing and test environments: Practical knowledge of test platforms/test environments tailored for embedded and/or automotive systems

 

Nice to Have


Cloud & DevOps Tools: Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and JFrog repository management for deliveries.

Version Control Alternatives: Familiarity with Perforce.

Agile Ways of Working: Experience working in Agile frameworks, including Scrum and SAFe.

Hardware Interaction: Experience working with test hardware, particularly involving communication protocols to control and monitor hardware.

HIL & SIL Test Automation: Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups, including integration of ECUs and automated regression testing.

Automotive Standards: Knowledge of automotive communication and diagnostic standards.

System-Level Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot across framework, hardware interface, communication protocols, and embedded SW.
