Role Summary

 

In this role, you will play a key part in driving our journey forward, collaborating with business teams, other architects, and our delivery teams. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining and evolving the architectural landscape, ensuring it remains up-to-date and well-structured.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Your primary responsibility will be to understand business strategies and visualize a future IT landscape that enables business goals. You will work daily with business colleagues and other Solution Architects to establish a flexible and future-proof IT landscape that supports Scania’s vision and evolving business models.

 

Key tasks include:

 

  • Contributing to the development of the future target IT architecture in the Finance domain
  • Ensuring functionality is reused and that company-wide architecture principles and standards are followed
  • Working with other architects and development teams to ensure solutions have a long lifecycle
  • Engaging in ongoing projects while collaborating with solution architects across production, aftermarket, finance, and purchasing
  • Maintaining an overview of existing solutions and new development initiatives while ensuring proper documentation and modeling according to established guidelines

 

Who You Are

 

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a minimum of five years in the field. You have both deep technical knowledge and a strategic mindset. Continuous improvement is a natural part of how you work. You bring a positive attitude and thrive in collaboration but are also comfortable working independently when needed. Being structured, proactive, and responsible is key to success in this role.

 

To excel in this position, you should have:

 

  • Strong expertise in the Finance domain, with a focus on Record to Report and Investment processes
  • Experience translating business requirements into IT solutions and engaging with key stakeholders
  • The ability to constructively challenge ideas and design approaches
  • Broad technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience working with cloud and hybrid solutions
  • A solid understanding of architectural diagramming and documentation
  • Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams
  • Experience with agile working methods and transformation projects

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash processes
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana
