Role summary

The team Strategy and Business Development, XX’s objective is to support Scania´s CEO, the Executive Board and the Scania organisation in the area of strategy and business development. We run strategic projects connected to a broad range of topics across all functions within Scania and support with strategy formulation.

 

Job responsibilities

As a Strategic Project Manager you contribute to the long-term success and profitability of Scania. Your responsibilites will be,

  • Work as a project manager where you support different parts of the Scania organisation with a broad range of assignments initiated by top management.
  • Take on tasks without a given solution or answer, breaking new grounds, testing new concepts and reshaping the future.
  • Lead resources from different parts of the company to solve a common task and work in close cooperation with different teams all over Scania as well as the Executive Board.
  • Support in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): From identifying opportunities to post-merger integration.
  • Support in Strategic Partnerships: Creating and nurturing alliances that accelerate growth.
  • Support in Carve-Outs or Integrations: Managing complex divestitures to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Have experience from a top-tier management consulting firm or a similar strategic role in a corporate environment is highly desirable
  • Have a financial or technical university degree
