Supplier Quality Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Supplier Quality Manager to join our team and help ensure that our suppliers meet our high-quality standards as a premium brand.

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with your colleagues  who are currently responsible for their own segments and are special process owners. You will meet and cooperate with diverse cultures, organizations, and levels of management both internally and at our suppliers. This position is a great opportunity to combine interpersonal skills with a technical interest. You will be an important contributor when it comes to:

• Selecting appropriate suppliers from a quality perspective
• Following up the quality assurance work during the industrialization of new projects
• Encouraging the suppliers to work with continuous improvement for parts already in running production

You work in a structured way and follow up deliverables from yourself and others to achieve results.

Requirements:

• An academic degree or other relevant education/work experience

• Fluent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)

• Experience from working with machined parts & measurement  is an advantage

• Swedish is a merit

• Previous experience in a global organization is an advantage

Supplier Quality (SR) is a part of Scania Purchasing, responsible for quality assurance of new and modified parts from our suppliers. Our team consists of supplier quality managers who work strategically with our purchasing colleagues to find the best suppliers for our new parts and proactively quality assure industrialization. We see quality issues as improvement potential and support our suppliers in finding the root cause and avoiding similar problems from happening again.
