System Owner
Are you passionate about creating outstanding in-vehicle experiences and ensuring that complex software systems run flawlessly? We are seeking a dedicated System Owner to assume responsibility for one of our most critical vehicle systems. In this role, you will drive the vision, quality, and performance of the Driver Interaction System, ensuring it delivers a safe, intuitive, and premium experience for our customers.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who:
- someone who naturally sees the big picture and understands how your system fits into the wider vehicle ecosystem. You thrive in complex environments, enjoying the challenge of analyzing difficult problems and breaking them down into clear, manageable components.
- confident in coordinating cross-functional teams and often becomes the go-to person for guidance. Your ability to build commitment, drive collaboration, and create clarity helps teams move in the same direction.
- excel at making informed trade-offs and prioritizing effectively. By weighing complex information and considering multiple perspectives, you consistently demonstrate sound judgment in your decisions and actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Driver Interaction System throughout its entire lifecycle—shaping the vision, roadmap, architecture, performance targets, and quality standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all system-level matters, including technical questions, escalations, and strategic decision-making.
- Define, refine, and maintain system requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with cross-functional development teams.
- Continuously monitor system performance, identify improvement areas, and drive enhancements using data and insights.
- Support the Triad in prioritizing features by balancing customer value, safety requirements, technical feasibility, and overall business strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive systems, preferably in HMI, infotainment, or driver interaction domains.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, embedded systems, UX/HMI principles, and system engineering.
- Previous experience of system ownership or equivalent and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge in Swedish is not mandatory but meritorious.
