Thesis Project: 30 hp - Optimising rigg electronics (ECU:s and surrounding environment) for SW verif

Introduction
Thesis work is an excellent way to get closer to Scania and build relationships for the future. Many of today's employees began their Scania career with their degree project.

Background
With the need to verify powertrain software controls continuously and reduce test cycle times, it is necessary to have a stable and reliable testing environment which can be deployed quickly. With the drastic improvements in computing power CPUs and power electronics, it is possible to reduce the size of existing hardware testing systems. The aim is to develop a fully functional hardware-in-loop system which is a miniaturized version of the existing testing systems.

Objective

  • Developing a new HiL concept
  • Evaluate options for RTPCs and HiL power electronics to support ECU testing
  • Optimising HiL electronics (ECU:s and surrounding environment) for SW verification and validation purposes
  • Working on a proof of concept for the new HiL concept
