Background
Any company that manufactures electrical products should perform End-of-Line (EOL) testing because it is the final opportunity to verify that every product is safe, functional, and compliant before it reaches the customer. Electrical products can pose risks such as electric shock, fire, overheating, or short circuits if defects are present. EOL testing verifies critical safety features before shipment., such as:
- Safety Assurance
- Product Functionality
- Compliance with Regulations and Standards
- Reduce Customer Complaints and Warranty Costs
- Protection of Company Reputation
- Manufacturing Process Control
- Traceability and Root Cause Analysis
In short, EOL testing is a critical control that helps prevent unsafe products leave the factory.
