Visitor Experience Manager
Do you want to take up the position working with Visit & Guide management within the Communications department, as part of the Event Experience team? An exciting opportunity to be part of the transformation journey within Communications and shaping the future of experience-based communication!
At Scania, we are leading the shift towards a sustainable transport system, transforming from a traditional heavy vehicle manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. Our commitment to innovation and excellence is showcased through our Experience Centre.
In Central Communications, our mission is clear: drive sustainability, customer profitability, and employee engagement, all based on the foundation of "Driving the Shift". As trusted experts in communication, we're passionate about executing our tasks with precision and purpose.
Our experience office is the cornerstone of Scania’s event experience planning, prioritizing assignments with clear KPIs and working to ensure a seamless customer journey. Our dedicated team maximizes productivity, managing bookings, staffing showrooms, and organizing visits, events, and guided tours in production areas. Our goal is to deliver an exceptional brand experience in line with our Visitor Operating Standard.
Your role/working area
To ensure the continuity of our visitor operations, a constant dialogue with our contacts in the production areas is required to ensure both safety and a premium experience for our visitors. This is where you come in! As a bridge between visitor operations and daily production, your communication ensures that our Guides and Guest Coordinators are well-updated and informed of any changes that affect our visits. Your responsibilities will also include being part of our global visitor network and, in consultation with our Showroom Developer, maintaining and developing our visitor areas in production.
Statistics and data analysis to support business decisions and reporting are part of the work, along with the responsibility for managing invoices, budgets, and purchasing agencies and materials for your area of responsibility. Previous holders of this role have also had a Master Trainer responsibility to further educate and recruit new guides to our operations, which has included, among other things, script updates etc. If you have experience in something similar, it is a merit but not a requirement as we have the opportunity to solve this in other ways.
Work description
