Warranty Employee

Long Description

The main responsibility of the Warranty Employee is to manage warranty cases and procedures according to the defined warranty process and Scania’s warranty manual. This is achieved by working to ensure that Scania warranty manual is followed by the network and the distributor, offering support when necessary.

Administration

Conduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Document Preparation

Use standard office software to carry out basic formatting of letters, memoranda, and routine reports.

Quality Assurance

Perform relatively simple quality sampling and inspection of products or processes (or both).

Operational Compliance

Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

Product/Service Information

Provide basic product/service information and respond to basic customer questions about the product/service.

Information and Business Advice

Respond to queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information, referring more complex issues to others.

Solutions Analysis

Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for parts of routine inquiries.

Product Training

Help to develop product training by gathering and assembling standard data and/or preparing materials using established procedures, formats, and templates. Provide basic product training and coaching on product knowledge, demos, and sales techniques.

Resolving Customer Issues

Respond to basic customer issues, such as returns, and escalate issues appropriately.

Document Management

Maintain files and records.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
