Head of Procurement

Scania EAR (East Adriatic Region) is looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Procurement to lead the development and implementation of the procurement strategy, drive continuous improvement, and ensure efficient support to the business through effective supplier, cost and stakeholder management.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the procurement strategy in line with business objectives.
• Lead purchasing and sourcing operations while ensuring effective procurement processes and governance.
• Create a procurement plan.
• Manage relationships with strategic suppliers and drive sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, conduct cost analyses and benchmarking, and identify savings opportunities.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Procurement team.
• Define and follow up KPIs, business results and improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with Scania policies, procedures and Scania Way principles.

Your Profile

• University degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or a related business area.
• Strong leadership and people management experience, preferably in a B2B or industrial environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• High integrity, result orientation and the ability to lead change.
• Experience in an international environment is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of the D365 system is considered an advantage.
