Role Summary

TRATON Financial Services CER, is serving customers, dealers and distributors in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary through established local leasing companies. The local leasing companies consist of both regulated and non-regulated companies and are placed in Prague, Bratislava and Budapest. We are more than 40 dedicated professionals who manage a portfolio consisting of trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing 350 MEURO of assets.
About the position
As a Credit Risk Analyst in Traton Financial Services Czech Republic, you will play a key role in supporting the Credit Risk Director and sales teams in assessing, managing, and monitoring the financial health of our customers in the Czech Republic. You will perform credit analyses, prepare financing proposals, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our risk management processes.
The main responsibilities are:
Credit Assessment
- Support credit evaluations for new and existing customers.
- Collect and analyze customer financial data and statements.
- Prepare credit summaries highlighting key strengths and potential risks.
- Make recommendations and decisions within delegated authority.
- Prepare credit applications for the TFS Head office Credit Committee.
- Monitor deliveries and credit frames, and maintain Borrower scoring.
- Follow and update AML policy rules.
Process development
- Permanently develop methods and procedures related to Credit Risk evaluation
- Monitor relevance of the valid MV model for all countries in CER and propose changes of MV models if needed, even for each country individually
“Pipeline” planning
- In co-operation with Brand Directors and with Account Managers, follow dealer´s plan of deliveries of equipment
- Co-ordinate plan of credit assessments with decision makers / synchronize planned decision requests with their agendas
- When possible, analyze customer data well in advance before actual delivery
Reporting and ad-hoc portfolio analyses
Profile:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in credit underwriting, financing, leasing, or portfolio management is an advantage — motivated graduates are also welcome.
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent command of Czech/Slovak and English; Hungarian is an advantage.
