Operational Development Manager

To support this transformation, we are establishing a new role within the Service Sales & Operations department, dedicated to driving development across the service organisation.

You will join a highly competent service team and work in close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders to support Scania Denmark’s nationwide service organisation. The role involves extensive cooperation with the service retail operation, service functions and global IT organisations, both locally and internationally.

In this position, you will contribute strong capabilities in project execution and the development of new ways of working, while acting as a key partner to the Service Director in matters related to business strategy and business development.

To ensure success in the role, a comprehensive onboarding program will be provided. This will include time spent in selected workshops to gain a deep understanding of the recipients of your deliverables, as well as introductions to key functions across Scania Denmark. We believe in moving deliberately to enable long-term success.

The role reports to the Service Director and includes membership in the Service Sales & Operations management team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development within Service Sales & Operations, with a focus on ways of working, systems and IT, service development and strategy
  • Lead and coordinate the service project portfolio in close collaboration with the service organisation, the Digitisation and IT teams, and other relevant stakeholders at both local and global levels, ensuring alignment of priorities and development needs
  • Contribute to the analysis and development of service strategies, commercial conditions and mandates

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant higher education within business, engineering, supply chain, economics, or similar
  • Experience driving changes in an international matrix organisation
  • Experience working with portfolio management
  • Strong people and project management capabilities
