Job Type: 12 Month FTC
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5pm
Location: Milton Keynes (Based from our Brand new Learning Academy) – Hybrid working

Summary
This new and exciting role will be supporting the People Development team cross-functionally in the areas of Technical, Apprentice, Commercial and Leadership training, Health & Safety, and development. You will have proven experience of analysing the current business situation to identify gaps and trends and can take a strategic future view by researching industry best practice, identifying emerging technologies and trends, and proposing innovative ideas for improvements. The role will focus on creating and maintaining both KPI & financial data for BAU operations and future training development.
In this role you will:
- Identify business needs for learning and competence development based on analytics of the current Learning Management Data, Vehicle Parc and Rolling Fleet of Scania products and services, combining data from different sources to create meaningful insights.
- Help Define & create KPI measures of success that link People Development programmes to tangible benefits and return on investment.
- Ability to interpret business needs effectively, to understand and develop learning briefs to scope out the end user learning journeys.
- Ability to engage with business stakeholders to understand competence gaps using a combination of face-to-face or virtual interviews, qualitative and quantitative research and consultation, and data analytics.
- Develop continuous monitoring of departmental KPI’s to enable informed decision making.
- Assist with strategic planning for future competencies and job roles as defined by the roadmap for upcoming products and services, considering business priorities and strategy.
- Competent to maintain and interpret financial data to be able to support Training Managers with utilisation & subscription reporting.
- Evaluate current People Development processes and systems to improve efficiency and performance.
- Support in creating detailed documentation on processes, requirements, and functional specifications within the Department.
- Research learning & development trends and innovation including methods, technology, software, systems, and equipment.
- Support Content Developer & Method Engineer in the learning & development teams with the research and specification of equipment, tooling, software, and systems to support in creating & training best practice for the business.
- Research and engage new training providers and vendors for all aspects of Health & Safety training and in the areas of learning & development; Technical, Apprentice, Leadership and Commercial.

- Adaptable – enjoys a dynamic environment and is comfortable completing a range of varied tasks.
- Analytical – working with excellent attention to detail. A solid background in process-design and high-level requirements is essential.
