As a Technical Support Engineer you will assist our Scania business units when they run into technical challenges. We give support to all of Scanias products, trucks, buses and our power solutions.
The position offers a wide technical knowledge of Scania's products and support tools in terms of troubleshooting and repair and you will get the opportunity to learn a lot about our products and support tools that we use to troubleshoot and repair our products. You will also gain high knowledge and insights about Scanias service business throughout the organization.
Who You Are
We are looking for a support engineer with a recent university degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, automation, or a related technical field.

Skills:
- Data analysis – Ability to interpret data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement areas
- Understanding of AI concepts – Especially generative AI, automation use cases, and data-driven tools
- Process thinking – Ability to analyse and optimize workflows, with a mindset for automation
- Business Intelligence exposure – Awareness or basic experience with platforms like Power BI or similar
Experience:
- Internships or academic projects related to technical support, data analytics, or automation
- Exposure to automotive industry systems, such as diagnostics, service information platforms, or connected vehicles
Experience in:
- Analyzing or visualizing data
- Automating repetitive tasks
- Creating technical documentation or support articles
- Participation in AI/ML, robotics, or process improvement coursework or projects
- Working with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, support teams)
