Project Buyer - Powertrain Procurement

Role Summary
Working as a buyer gives you a great opportunity to gain insight into the purchasing function and the area we work in. In your role, you will:
- Be responsible for prototype purchases, including handling quotation requests, negotiating, and ensuring that articles are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Represent Scania vis-à-vis our suppliers, while collaborating extensively with internal stakeholders across purchasing, R&D, and logistics.
- Manage administrative tasks in our procurement processes for series items, working closely with colleagues to ensure the timely delivery of components in Scania's development projects.
- Coordinate prototypes to support timely project execution.
Who You Are
We are looking for a recent university graduate with a strong interest in technology and a commercial mindset. Alternatively, you may already have relevant experience from Scania or similar roles in other companies and see this position as the next step in your career.
To succeed in this role, you should be results-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a structured way. You have a proactive, long-term approach and a strong sense of collaboration. You enjoy taking initiative and working independently. As a person, you are positive and contribute to a strong team spirit in the groups you work with.

Since the role involves a large international network and some travel, a high level of written and spoken English is required.
