The Microsoft D365 section is part of the Digital Core department and supports Scania’s Commercial Operations and Sales & Marketing. Our mission is to enable a data-driven organization, reduce administrative overhead, and accelerate time-to-market through the digitalization and consolidation of our global wholesale and retail platforms. 

 

We’re now looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Lead to help us implement and evolve the Microsoft Dynamics 365 blueprint across Scania’s global markets. 

 

Role Summary 

 

As IT Lead, you will be responsible for securing and evolving our technical platforms for integration and data, ensuring alignment with Scania’s strategic direction and IT guardrails. You’ll support the ongoing development of the Microsoft D365 program and work closely with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, modern solutions. You will also take the IT lead in retrofit activities, ensuring that markets already live in D365 stay current and aligned with evolving standards and capabilities. 

 

This is a strategic role where you’ll act and collaborate with business, shaping the future of Scania’s digital transformation within Commercial Operations. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

  • Ensure the integration and data platforms are aligned with Scania's strategic objectives and IT guidelines 

  • Define and maintain development roadmaps for technical platforms, incorporating the latest technologies and features 

  • Act as IT Lead for retrofit activities in existing markets to ensure alignment with updated ways of working 

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to support the successful rollout of Microsoft D365 globally 

  • Partner with IT and business colleagues to deliver scalable solutions across the broader Scania organization 

  • Support and enable a flexible, efficient delivery process within the D365 program 

  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in all aspects of the platform lifecycle 

 

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in leading and coaching cross-functional or IT delivery teams 

  • A strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure technologies 

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to handle multiple business relationships 

  • A business-oriented mindset with the ability to connect IT strategy to business needs 

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in both Swedish and English 

  • A proactive, curious, and empathetic approach to leadership 

  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for building scalable, sustainable solutions
