Background
Are you passionate about contributing to sustainability and circularity? This master's thesis project aims to enhance transparency and circularity in the lifecycle of permanent magnets through a good combination of literature review and experimental work. The research will be conducted primarily within the materials team at Traton, in close collaboration with academic partners.
Objective
- Investigate the material flow of permanent magnets through literature review
- Evaluate disassembly methods for permanent magnets through practical testing and material characterization
- Summarization and recommendation for future developments (presentation and report writing)
Job description
This thesis project will involve literature study, data collection, analysis, and reporting. You should have a solid understanding of laboratory work and material analysis methods, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good digital proficiency.
