Planning & Delivery Engineer

Transport is changing fast. New technologies, electrification, harmonised ways of working, aligned IT systems and business solutions are reshaping how we support our customers. In Build Up, this means working even closer with Sales, Pre-Sales, European production sites and internal stakeholders to create customer-tailored solutions, transparent workflows and stronger collaboration from first idea to final delivery. This is a newly established role where you can make a real difference — for our customers, for your colleagues and for Scania Denmark.

You will become part of a skilled and supportive team that values openness, practical problem solving and strong relationships across the organisation. Together with colleagues in Sales, regional production sites, global functions and Scania Denmark, you will help turn customer needs into solutions that are well coordinated, commercially strong and easy to deliver.

As our new Planning & Delivery Engineer, you will bring structure, drive and curiosity into a role that combines project execution, business planning and stakeholder facilitation. You will work closely with the Build Up Manager to develop the strategy, improve cross-functional collaboration and translate ideas into practical ways of working that make us more agile, proactive and customer-focused.

We know that understanding Scania takes time. That is why we will plan a thorough introduction where you spend time in selected workshops, meet the colleagues who will use your deliverables and get to know the functions across Scania Denmark. We believe in going slow to move fast — giving you the right foundation to succeed and grow in the role.

Key responsibilities:

• Business development within Build Up organisation, taking lead in mindset transformation towards production-oriented culture.

• Drive projects to enhance cooperation with European Customer Delivery Centres.

• Key Role of developing and updating our ways of working to support standardized and efficient approach based on kit packages and fixed prices.

• Take part in analysis and development of Build Up strategies, commercial conditions and mandates.

Your Profile

• A degree within engineering, supply, economy or similar – a “consultancy” personality

• Excellent people and project management skills.

• Inspiring others: Energizing and inspiring others to strive for excellence and commit to common goals and purposes.

• Leading change: You actively promote new ideas and methods with a structured and analytical approach.

•  You are willing to travel, find international contacts stimulating and communicate in both Danish &  English fluently.    

•  You have a genuine interest in people and customers to grow and develop our business in a structured way of working.

•  You have a hands on people centric approach which allows you to make the decision on when to secure global processes and when a pragmatic solution are the better option.
