Currently, the Black Sea Unit of TFS (formed by Scania Credit Romania and Scania Finance Bulgaria) is looking to appoint a new competent professional in the position of General Compliance Officer:

The Role:

Within a dynamic environment, you will contribute with your unique knowledge and experience to promote Traton Financial Services values through coordination of the implementation of the General Risk and Compliance framework, support and guidance regarding risk and compliance, compliance of local operations including internal and external policies and regulations.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Every day is an occasion for growth, being responsible for: 

  • Advice and counsel managers and employees on compliance matters and obligations 
    •Implementation of compliance policies including also Code of Conduct, AML etc., instructions, guidelines and processes 
    •Offer support for maintaining the policies and processes required by national legislation and group internal regulations
    •Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risks, monitor and perform activities to ensure that risks are managed by relevant functions to identify possible non-compliance
    •Support in maintaining a sound internal control system and monitor adherence to internal controls
    •Fulfil the role of compliance officer in the field of preventing and combating money laundering, terrorism financing and international sanctions
    •Conduct ad-hoc activities based on request from the head office
    •Actively conduct communication and facilitate decision-making processes with legal advisers
    •Execute activities planned according to compliance activities plan
    •Represent the company in relations with the authorities 
    •Provide support for the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Risk Administration Committee meetings with the support of the external provider
    •All the listed tasks are performed in close co-operation with the Risk and Compliance Director
    •Some of the tasks are in close cooperation with the other departments and functions within FS BSU
    •In addition, this function may also perform other tasks requested by the supervisor.

The Person

 

  • University degree, ideally in Economics or Legal
  • 3-4 years of corporate compliance experience (AML, GDPR, Internal Control, Governance)
  • AML training is essential
  • Very good English knowledge and reliable computer skills
  • Knowledge of the local and international standard and best practices in compliance
  • Collaborative, transparent, supportive, proactive, details oriented, with increased attention to the content of the documents.
