Business Developer

Role Summary

The Business Developer – Financing Products Scania at TRATON Finans AB, is responsible for developing, leading, and managing both existing and new leasing products and services. The role focuses on enhancing profitability and efficiency while driving greater customer value and satisfaction. This is achieved by acting on available business intelligence to investigate business development potential and assist the business and operation in developing and implementing activities to: develop offers; expand the solutions portfolio; sell additional products and services; develop the network or ways to get the most out of the existing organisationm, thus interacting with distributors, dealers and customers.

The area of responsibility also includes how to improve sales processes for the product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic thinker with ability to drive change and follow up overall and day-to-day operations.
• Ensure knowledge-based decisions through market, customer and competitor analysis.
• Promote a customer- and result-oriented mindset.
• Identify deviations and develop action plans.
• Analyse development potential and create new leasing and financing products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, dealers and customers.
• Prepare business cases, benchmarks and reports.
• Support product launches and marketing activities.
• Plan and lead development projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ensure effective implementation, follow-up and adjustment when needed.
• Work according to the TRATON FS Way and contribute to structured processes and ongoing improvements.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience in customer financing, combined with strong business understanding. Experience from a similar role is an advantage. You have worked with leasing products and solutions and have a good understanding of product management.

You enjoy working with others and building strong relationships. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues, markets and stakeholders across the organisation. You communicate clearly and can explain ideas in a way that builds trust and encourages collaboration.

You take a proactive and structured approach to your work. You can spot challenges early and find practical, sustainable solutions. You are comfortable driving initiatives together with others and supporting teams through change in a clear and engaging way.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

This Is Us

We are a small team that will consist of four people once this position is filled, working to support Scania’s end-customer financing business. As part of the broader Business Development team within TRATON Finans AB, we collaborate with a total of eleven colleagues, bringing together diverse perspectives and experience.

My leadership is based on trust and collaboration. I believe in giving people responsibility, supporting them in their development, and creating an environment where ideas are welcomed and taken forward. We work independently in our projects while supporting each other and staying open to learning along the way.
