Join our dynamic team as a Sourcing Manager specializing in Commodity Chassis Components, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving sustainable transport solutions.
Role Summary
As a Buyer, you will have a supportive role for the segment owner. Initially you learn Scania and our way of working. There will be supportive task like administration but also extensive contact both cross functional within Scania such as R&D, Project Purchasing, SQA, Scania Latin America, but also external such as MAN in Munich and the Suppliers within the segment. The pace is fast and the daily work could shift frequently.
Who You Are
As the ideal candidate, you possess a strong commercial acumen, coupled with a keen interest in technology. You're analytical, structured, and proactive, with a proven track record of reliability and effective organizational skills. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain strong relationships, and represent Purchasing professionally across various functions and with suppliers is paramount.
You demonstrating exceptional results and a commitment to ongoing learning. An academic degree in engineering, business, or similar is expected, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluent English (Swedish proficiency is advantageous).
