Dedicated Service Sales
Role Summary
The main responsibility of a DSS person is to proactively promote and sell Scania services in the BU region.
The role is focusing on services deals for rolling fleet and related equipment for the targeted customers and prospects in a certain region.
Focusing on the customer, understanding his/her business needs and transforming them in to value adding solutions as well as upholding a positive brand image are furthermore key aspects for the role.
Meet commercial and financial targets and thereby contributing to the profitable growth of Scania.
Job Responsibilities
Identify Business Opportunities
Keep up to date with competitors and customers activities in the sales district.
Explore new potential customers/prospects in the sales district.
Analyze potential and set product targets on customer level.
Cooperate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives and support Scania’s overall business growth.
Reporting and Follow-Up
Daily use of CRM application.
Analyze and record lessons learned from won and lost sales.
Participate monthly business review retail meeting.
Prepare and report according the governance on weekly, monthly and quarterly base.
Follow up your performance on the agreed KPI’s and targets.
Solutions Based Offerings
Create quotation based on the discussed needs using DMS system (AutoMaster).
Explain and secure the content of the proposal with the customer.
Handle objections and align expectations around the offer.
Performance Management
Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.
Quality Assurance
Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes. Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitor them to make sure they are effective.
Manufacturing Methods/Processes Development
Implement improvements in manufacturing methods and processes and provide feedback on the changes.
Data Collection and Analysis
Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
Internal Communications
Support in using the internal communications system to access specific information on request.
