QUALITY DIRECTOR

Mission

Our current Quality Director at MA in Angers, France, will take up a new position after the summer of 2025. We are therefore looking for a person who wants to occupy one of the key positions within our final assembly unit in Angers.

You will have many opportunities to grow, as well as contribute to the development of our operations with a dynamic team and committed colleagues.

As a Quality Director, you will be responsible for all the activities of your industrial department. You will work closely with other departments to implement the company's strategy, optimize industrial performance and support teams in the continuous transformation of our organization.

Role

Your role will be based on four main areas:

1. Co-construction and implementation of the industrial strategy:

  • Define and implement your department's strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Propose and deploy work streams to enhance the efficiency of our operations, with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability.
  • Analyze and anticipate the evolution of our product to adapt our processes and technologies.

2. Steering of the activity and change management:

  • Manage all the department's activity by ensuring operational performance according to the criteria of quality, safety, deadlines and costs.
  • Lead change by supporting the implementation of new tools, processes or technologies.
  • Ensure optimal management of resources and production planning while minimizing risks and respecting operational constraints.

3. Team management and skills development:

  • Manage a diverse team of managers, providing them with a clear vision of their missions and motivating their commitment on a daily basis.
  • Be a true leader and coach, by offering regular follow-up, constructive feedback and fostering an environment conducive to skills development of your employees.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork, integrating good managerial practices and company values.

4. Driving continuous improvement:

  • Manage continuous improvement approaches to optimize the department's performance in terms of productivity, quality and costs.
  • Implement and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the actions carried out and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify and implement innovation and optimization projects with a constant concern for operational excellence.
