Role Summary

Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

Chief Financial Officer, Scania Black Sea Unit (BSU)

   Since our current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is returning to home country in the Scania Group we are looking for a new CFO for our Business Unit (BU) in Black Sea covering Romania, Bulgaria and Moldavia.

Job Responsibilities

Strong business drive and leadership
Operating in different countries the market in BSU is challenging with high customer expectations. We are offering trucks, buses and engines in BSU together with services. The network in BSU has 14 captive workshops where the BU employs around 300 employees and managers.
 
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will act as a key member of the BU´s management team and will take a significant role in the strategic development and management of the BU.
 
You will be accountable to the board of the BU for the financial and business administration of the BU. Your responsibility area will include financial accounting and reporting as well as balance sheet management of the BU. Today the responsibility area is also including purchasing, company risk management and D365 implementation within the BU. 
 
Your focus areas will include developing and maintaining strategies and plans for your function, which must drive added value and support the commercial strategy for the BU.
 
Team player, commercial mind-set and continuous improvement
We are looking for an experienced finance professional that is a strong team player, has a commercial and open mind-set, is prepared to take a leadership position and is committed to continuous improvement. Our key challenges during the next years are to keep up and increase the profitability for our BU and keep track of our overhead resources.

A track record of working in Commercial Operation and in an international environment are clear advantages. 
You take initiatives, work under own direction and have a firm grasp of Scania’s corporate governance.
