The role
The Business Controller serves as a key commercial and financial partner to multiple business divisions, working closely with the broader finance team to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders to:
- Develop and implement business strategies, processes, information systems, and action plans aimed at improving profitability
- Analyse operational performance and provide insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency and outcomes
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial business plans and quarterly forecasts
- Identifying, assessing, and managing risk and compliance requirements
- Delivering accurate and timely management and board reporting
- Leading and contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiencies and safeguard company assets and values
What you will do
- Strategic role partnering with stakeholders to guide and influence key financial decisions
- Collaborate across teams to drive performance, insights, and business outcomes
- Provide financial expertise to support planning, risk management, and governance
- Build strong relationships to enable alignment, accountability, and sustainable growth
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and proven expertise in stakeholder engagement.
You will be strategic with a results-driven mindset, capable of developing innovative and practical financial solutions. Experience within the automotive industry will be highly regarded. You will have:
- Degree in commerce or accounting and 5 years’ experience in a broad financial role
- Ability to analyse financial results and recommend and implement necessary actions to maximise the business returns and enhance the operation performance
- Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools advantageous
