Role Summary

The main responsibility of the Parts Supervisor is to manage and develop the parts business in a cost efficient and profitable way. The Parts Supervisor ensures a healthy stock level that meets the needs of the end customers and the workshops and contributes to a profitable business with well defined targets. This is achieved by a high level of parts availability and part sales.

Job Responsibilities

Operations Management

Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols.

Incoming Goods

Deliver and supervise the delivery of a range of warehouse and store tasks to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded following established procedures.

Outgoing Goods

Complete packaging tasks, cultivate an understanding of packaging needs, and develop ideas for improvements.

Inventory

Manage inventory for a site or factory, with guidance when discrepancies or issues are identified, following existing procedures.

Inventory Control

Carry out a range of inventory-control management activities using existing procedures.

Performance Management

Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

Health, Safety, and Environment

Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

Operational Compliance

Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.

Quality Assurance

Conduct complex analyses, quality tests, and inspections that require a high level of independent judgment.

Data Collection and Analysis

Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.

Internal Communications

Support in using the internal communications system to access specific information on request.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
