Role Summary

The main responsibility of the Parts Supervisor is to manage and develop the parts business in a cost efficient and profitable way. The Parts Supervisor ensures a healthy stock level that meets the needs of the end customers and the workshops and contributes toa profitable business with well defined targets. This is achieved by a high levelof parts availability and part sales.

Job Responsibilities

Operations Management

Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. May involve adjusting basic settings or parameters in order to meet performance standards.

Incoming Goods

Deliver simple warehouse and store tasks to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded following established procedures.

Outgoing Goods

Complete routine packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures under supervision.

Inventory

Perform simple inventory-control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records, following established inventory-control procedures.

Inventory Control

Support others by carrying out simple inventory-control tasks. Involves following established procedures.

Performance Management

Complete allocated work to the required standards of quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

Health, Safety, and Environment

Follow a range of mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

Operational Compliance

Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

Quality Assurance

Perform relatively simple quality sampling and inspection of products or processes (or both).

Data Collection and Analysis

Perform basic data entry tasks, including data verification.

External Communications

Create positive experiences for clients by interacting courteously with them.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
