As a Compensation & Performance Administrator, you will play a crucial role within the Global People & Culture function, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of performance management and reward processes across Scania’s global organization. You will be responsible for administering annual performance cycles, compensation reviews, bonus processes, and executive reward components, becoming a key contributor to the global employee experience.

 

 

About the Role

 

Working closely with Global Mobility & Compensation, HR Business Partners, and People & Culture teams worldwide, you will support the full spectrum of compensation and performance processes. Your work will directly impact data accuracy, fairness of reward programs, and the overall quality of our HR operations.

 

 

What You'll Do

 

Compensation & Performance Cycle Administration

• Set up and maintain performance templates and goal‑setting structures
• Administer year-end performance evaluations and ensure accuracy of career path data
• Support annual salary reviews across all employee groups
• Process off‑cycle salary adjustments and ensure proper documentation
• Administer bonus and incentive plans, including calculations and payouts
• Support equity‑related activities and executive benefits administration

 

Employee Inquiry Handling & Tier 2 Support

• Monitor and respond to employee and manager inquiries related to compensation and performance
• Use templates, SOPs, and system guidance to resolve routine and advanced cases
• Act as a subject matter expert for non‑standard or escalated queries

 

Data Accuracy & HRIS Maintenance

• Ensure correct and timely updates in SuccessFactors and associated HR systems
• Support data integrity checks, audits, and document management

 

Process Documentation & Knowledge Base Maintenance

• Identify optimization opportunities within compensation and performance processes
• Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement
• Update templates, user guides, internal documentation, and knowledge resources

 

Compliance, Reporting & Record Management

• Support digital archiving of employee records and compliance tracking
• Generate standard employment letters, reports, confirmations, and analysis as needed
• Escalate non-standard issues to the Team Manager or appropriate stakeholders

 

 

What You Bring

 

Skills & Tools

 

• Fluency in English
• Advanced experience in SAP SuccessFactors (especially Compensation & Performance modules)
• Proficiency in ServiceNow and Microsoft Office
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Customer service mindset and ability to manage sensitive inquiries

 

Professional Profile

• 3+ years of experience in HR administration within SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar HRIS
• Good understanding of compensation cycles, performance management processes, and employee lifecycle workflows
• Experience working with confidential data and managing sensitive cases
• Ability to handle routine and complex requests independently
• Familiarity with employment regulations and HR compliance standards

 

Your Background

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to deliver high-quality work with speed, accuracy, and exceptional customer focus
