Recruitment/Onboarding Configuration Specialist
Shape the future of HR systems with our clientScania is looking for a Recruitment/ Onboarding Configuration Specialist to support the configuration and optimisation of SAP SuccessFactors solutions within a global HR transformation program.This is a hands-on role for an experienced SuccessFactors professional who enjoys working close to the system, collaborating with senior consultants and HR stakeholders, and delivering high-quality, standardised solutions across regions.
About the role:
As a Recruitment/ Onboarding Configuration Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and evolving Scania's SuccessFactors landscape, with a strong focus on Recruitment Marketing (RMK), Recruitment Management (RCM), Onboarding 2.0, Employee Central, reporting, and Role-Based Permissions (RBP).You will work in a complex, multinational environment, contributing to system stability, process consistency, and continuous improvement across global HR operations.
What You’ll Do:
Module Support & Configuration:
- Configure, test, and support SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment and Onboarding modules
- Handle day-to-day system changes, incidents, and enhancements
- Support deployments and upgrades in collaboration with senior consultants
Role-Based Permissions (RBP):
- Configure and maintain module-specific RBPs
- Ensure secure, accurate, and compliant user access across regions
Reporting & Analytics:
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and story reports in SuccessFactors
- Provide actionable insights for HR and business stakeholders
Enhancements & Global Rollouts:
- Support testing, documentation, and delivery of new features
- Contribute to global HR initiatives and system improvements
Process Standardisation:
- Support adoption of standardised HR processes across our client’s global organisation
- Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and internal governance
User Support & Training:
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Document solutions and support end-user training activities
Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR, IT, and SAP SuccessFactors consultants
- Align system configuration with business and process requirements
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Strong experience with:
- Recruitment Marketing (RMK)
- Recruitment Management (RCM)
- Onboarding 2.0 (ONB)
- Reporting & Analytics
- Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
- Exposure to Time Management and/or Employee Central Payroll is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a global, multicultural environment
Certifications & Education:
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Certified Implementation Consultant (mandatory)
- SAP SuccessFactors certification in Time Management and/or EC Payroll – an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Additional Attributes:
- Experience in HR system implementation or optimisation projects
- Understanding of end-to-end HR processes (core HR, recruitment, onboarding)
- Interest in automation, data governance, and continuous improvement
- Motivation to grow into broader SuccessFactors consulting responsibilities
