Handle cartons and pallets to process merchandise coming into and going out of the fulfillment center. Job duties could include stocking (locating and removing pallets of merchandise in storage locations), and loading (loading cartons onto pallets and pallets onto outbound trailers). Distinguished from general fulfillment center worker by being responsible for providing work direction to fulfillment center workers and support the training of new associates.
Job Responsibilities
Operating Machine or Equipment
Operate basic equipment and machines, and carry out routine tasks. Involves following strict, detailed instructions.
Operations Management
Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. Involves working within given settings or parameters.
Incoming Goods
Deliver basic warehouse and store tasks under supervision to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded in line with agreed procedures.
Outgoing goods
Complete basic packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures under supervision.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair
Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance while following strict, detailed instructions.
Administration
Conduct basic data entry into company systems and file information using agreed procedures to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
Work Scheduling and Allocation
Work according to an assigned schedule.
Operational Compliance
Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
Personal Capability Building
Develop and maintain excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
Education
- Lower Secondary School Level 2
