Autonomous Heavy Vehicle Technician
Role Summary
Perform diagnostics, services and repairs on Autonomous Heavy Vehicles. Site based, 8/6 day roster.

Day-to-Day
- Carrying out a variety of autonomous technology installations, site repairs, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, data collection and trouble reporting.
- Collaborate and communicate with site and project teams and key internal and external stakeholders regarding the project’s targets in areas of safety, environment, and production
- Carry out statutory inspections and calibrations
- Operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships. Assist to cultivate a strong team environment within the department.
- Foster and promote a safe work environment maintaining safe work practices at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Mine site experience and understanding of safety processes and systems (preferred)
- Auto electrician experience
- Heavy vehicle industry experience (preferred)
- Current HR, HC or MC licence (desirable but not essential)
- Scania/European Truck Experience (Preferred)
- Experience with FMS, AHS and/or other dispatch systems (preferred)
- Certificate III Qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
