Truck Mechanic - Münsbach

As a Truck Technician at Scania, you work every day on vehicles built to perform on Europe’s roads. From our well-known six-cylinder and V8 engines to the latest electric and hybrid drivetrains, you will be working with technology that continues to evolve.
At our workshop in Münsbach, you will carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Scania trucks, as well as trailers and tail lifts.
You will also have the opportunity to continuously develop your technical expertise through Scania training, including electrical systems, CNG and high-voltage technology.
What will you do?
- Perform maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on Scania trucks.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Work on trailers, semi-trailers and tail lifts.
- Use Scania’s modern diagnostic equipment and technical systems.
- Depending on your qualifications, work on electric and hybrid commercial vehicles.
- Accurately document the work you perform.
- Work closely with your workshop and service colleagues.
- Continue developing your technical knowledge through Scania training.
Who are you?
You enjoy working with technology and like understanding how vehicles work. You value quality and safety and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
You also have:
- A technical qualification in automotive technology, truck mechanics, vehicle technology, electromechanics or equivalent professional experience.
- Good mechanical knowledge and preferably experience with vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
- Experience working with trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, construction equipment or other heavy vehicles is an advantage.
- Experience with high-voltage systems or an HEV qualification is an advantage, but not required.
- The motivation to continue learning through Scania technical training.
- An independent, reliable and accurate way of working.
- Good knowledge of either French or German. Knowledge of both languages is an additional advantage.
