What you will do
As part of the National sales team and reporting to the National Sales Manager you will focus on potential opportunities with new vehicles as a base but will also have an overall responsibility for the customers in your portfolio. You will be responsible for:

  • Promoting, negotiating and selling total transport solutions, product and services 
  • Developing and implementing sales plan for the portfolio
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers and identifying sales opportunities
  • Continuously developing relationships with existing and new customers
  • Identifying new prospects and developing an in-depth understanding of customer businesses
  • Manage your portfolio through the in-house CRM system

Who you are
To be successful as a Sales Account Manager, within Scania New Zealand Lower North Island, you will have proven successful account management experience, with a hunger and passion to set and achieve sales KPI’s.

You have a key focus on building relationships and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will have prior experience selling trucks or related heavy-duty equipment and sound knowledge of the truck/bus industry.
