Business Developer - Procurement Transformation

We are now looking for a business developer to work with transformation and innovation of how we do procurement and who want to be part of Scania's and Tratons work to deliver procurement excellence.
Role Summary
The main responsibility of the business developer is primarily to spearhead transformation initiatives and challenge our current ways of working. The work will be highly forward looking, setting the prerequisites for excellence in the years to come. The business developer will also support and team up with other specialists and stakeholders to drive continuous improvements of current processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Transformation: Redesign processes to align with new business models, digital tools, and emerging trends. Lead process-related workstreams in procurement change initiatives.
- Digital Enablement: Team up with colleagues to externally identify potential solutions that could enhance procurement processes.
- Innovation: Research and experiment with new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Future-State Design: Create target operating models that incorporate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align process transformation initiatives with organizational strategy.
- Program Involvement: Oversee and contribute in process related workstreams in complex projects, ensuring their overall success.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with diverse stakeholders to drive buy-in for transformation efforts.
Who You are
We are looking for someone with previous experience in business- & process transformation and preferably within one or several procurement areas. To be successful in this role, you need to be excellent at stakeholder collaboration and communication, have a keen interest in research and in the future of procurement excellence and have the ability to drive long-term change in a successful way. You enjoy taking initiative and develop the role you are in. As a person, you are positive and contribute to good team spirit in the groups you work in, especially in times when the pace of work is high.
As the role involves work at an international level as well as some traveling, an advanced level of English, both in writing and verbally, is mandatory, and good knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

The team is based at Scania's procurement office in Södertälje and we are employing a hybrid work set-up, meaning that you have the opportunity to work from home or in our office in central Stockholm some days of the week.
