 As part of this journey, we're expanding our team and looking for a Business IT Analyst (BA) to join our Conversion team in the Coordination of Product Instance and Product Adaptations department.

As a Business IT Analyst, you’ll act as a crucial link between users, customers, and internal development projects within Scania IT. You’ll be responsible for managing communication with key business areas—understanding their needs and translating them into effective IT solutions and strategic changes in both process and technology.

You’ll work hands-on in a cross-functional agile team consisting of a Product Owner, Tester, Business Analysts, and Rebuild Engineers—who are also end users of the Conversion application.

 

What is Conversion?


Conversion is a tool enabling 50,000 weekly software updates and 3,000 product reconfigurations, used globally across our service network. We’re currently transitioning this application to a cloud-based microservice architecture, developing new functionality like over-the-air updates for vehicles directly from the factory—no workshop visit required.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Collaborate with the development team across the entire agile development process.
  • Gather business requirements, define goals, and build strong business cases.
  • Lead and drive pre-studies and initiatives that shape the future of our product area.
  • Act as a Conversion ambassador—promoting its capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support users with troubleshooting and day-to-day guidance.

Your qualifications:

 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business—or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business IT Analyst or similar role.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
