Now, we're expanding our Chassis & Metal Procurement Master Team and are looking for a Junior Purchaser ready to grow into a key role within Scania’s and TRATON’s global sourcing ecosystem.
Role Summary
As a Junior Purchaser within Chassis & Metal, you will gain experience in sourcing for both prototypes and series production parts that are crucial to Scania’s and TRATON’s vehicle development projects and long term goals. You will gain knowledge about how we work in procurement on several levels which helps you build knowledge as well as share insights or thoughts on how we can improve. You’ll work closely with experienced team members, be supported by a mentor, and play a vital role in keeping our projects on track and have our eye on the target.
Job Responsibilities
Procure prototype parts, support our organization with preparing RFQs, work on centralized tasks to improve our flows and way of working as well as being a contact point for suppliers and internal teams including R&D, project office, production and logistics. You will manage and learn both administrative as well as hands on task in our systems and flows.
Who You Are
• You have a university degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• You're curious about technology, commercially driven, and thrive in a structured, dynamic environment.
• You’re analytical, collaborative, and can manage several priorities at once.
• You enjoy working cross-functionally and internationally, both independently and in teams.
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a merit).
