CyberSecurity Manager/Coordinator

We at Scania’s Powertrain Control System are looking at expanding our team with a Cybersecurity Manager/Coordinator to meet future challenges in the automotive industry.

We need to supply industry-leading performance and functionality to keep our position as a leader in the heavy-duty market. Currently, we are delivering our control system to several companies within the TRATON Group that are based in Sweden, Germany, and the U.S.

 

The team

 

The team consists of 14 engineers with different roles such as System Owners, Functional Safety Managers, Safety Engineers, Requirement Engineer, Cybersecurity Manager and Cybersecurity Engineer for the Engine and Aftertreatment Control Systems, which are one of Scania’s most advanced real-time control systems. We are responsible to make sure that we meet Functional Safety standards and comply Cybersecurity legislations in different markets such as EU, China and US.

Your work assignments

 

No day is the other alike here is a list of examples of work assignments for the role:

  • Plan and deliver Cybersecurity activities for multiple ongoing projects including TARA (Threat analysis and Risk assessment)
  • Responsible for integrating the Cybersecurity processes in the normal development process for the systems
  • Support the Cybersecurity specification (Cybersecurity concept) and requirements
  • Maintain Cybersecurity process for sourcing and maintenance of components
  • Lead CSMS (Cybersecurity Management System) compliance (ISO21434, UNR155, GB44496, etc.)
  • Interface with other parts of organization like cybersecurity monitoring, CSMS work group,
  • Organize, support, and participate in periodical external audit of Cyber Security Processes.

 

Your profile

 

You are passionate about the topic, and you are a curious person who finds it easy to cooperate with others. You are motivated by responsibility and enjoy solving problems in a structured way. To succeed in this role as Cybersecurity Manager/Coordinator you have some of the following: You have a BSc or MSc in engineering or similar knowledge gained from work experience.

  • Previous experience from working with either Cybersecurity in automotive industry (ISO21434, UN ECE R155/156), functional safety (ISO26262) or other regulation-based standards (like GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, etc) are meriting.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are meriting
  • You are patient and methodical approaching the administrative tasks that exist in the role
  • You have an improvement mindset and find efficient ways for us to continuously improve our way of working.
  • You are comfortable with taking lead in the work and enjoy involving your colleagues.
  • You have good problem solving skills and your capacity to adapt to changing circumstances will be your best asset in this position.
  • We are a large organization with a great deal of cross-functional collaboration and your skills in communication and building relationships will be appreciated.

 

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex systems, identify security risks, and develop effective solutions.

Understanding of software security principles, secure coding practices, and application lifecycle management

Good knowledge of English is required, and Swedish is a merit.
