Digital Experience & Change Strategist
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Role summary
We are looking for a Digital Experience & Change Strategist to join our Digital Experience Strategy team. As stakeholders increasingly interact with Scania through digital products and services, the digital experience becomes a key driver in maintaining our brand position. The Digital Experience section at Scania is a central function responsible for leading and enabling Scania in creating digital experiences that build a unified and premium perception across touchpoints. Our team works closely with brand, product design, and teams across the organisation to strengthen Scania’s digital experience capabilities while building the brand in digital channels. We are now looking for a strategist who can uncover and act on insights, craft compelling narratives, and co-create assets that enable teams and individuals to develop premium digital products.
As a Digital Experience & Change Strategist, you will work to ensure that our output lead to real impact across the business. You will identify opportunities, build partnerships, and lead initiatives that support the broader adoption of digital experience strategies, practices, and tools. This role sits at the intersection of research, change, strategy, and enablement — with a focus on building momentum around digital experience design as a business-critical capability.
Job responsibilities
As part of the Strategy team you contribute to strategic initiatives within our thematic roadmaps, working with Theme Leads and team members. We work closely together as a team and in a context where focus areas and tasks often evolve. In this role you will:
- Spot and develop opportunities to expand the use of our frameworks, tools, and offerings as well as leading initiatives that increase visibility and engagement.
- Partner with product teams, business units, and stakeholders to embed digital experience practices into everyday work.
- Develop engaging, practical assets — including guidelines, onboarding material, and internal courses — that turn strategies into action.
- Conduct qualitative research across teams and functions to identify bottlenecks, needs, and behavioural patterns, synthesizing findings into narratives that inspire.
- Communicate with impact and champion the value of digital experiences and brand. Deliver messages, presentations, and visualizations to align stakeholders and build momentum.
Who you are
- You’re hands-on and strategic, capable moving between big picture framing and detailed execution. As comfortable in mapping themes from interviews as creating workshops and presentations.
- You’re a strong communicator who can navigate complex environments, build alignment, and turn insights into narratives that resonate across different levels of an organisation.
- You enjoy working in dynamic settings where priorities shift and ambiguity is common. You’re able to bring clarity, foster collaboration, and influence without formal authority.
- We believe you have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in roles such as organisational strategist, business development, brand strategist, service designer, change lead, or similar — where communicating business value and driving change is essential.
- You have a proven track record of leading or supporting change initiatives in large, complex organisations.
- You have experience conducting qualitative research (e.g. interviews, workshops, observations) and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- We act around brand, digital product development, and experience design. While we don’t believe you need to be a specialist within all these fields, you should have a solid understanding to be able to advocate for its value in modern organisations.
