Digital Officer

Role Summary
Do you want to temporarily lead the Scania Sales and Marketing Trucks organisation’s digitalisation journey? Trucks’ Digital Officer will be on parental leave for 9 months, and we are looking for a digitalisation leader to temporarily fill her shoes. We have a flexible formal approach, considering both PEP and temporary employment.
Job Responsibilities
To secure a continued successful journey our Digital Officer challenges, enables and drives digitalisation as well as promotes cross-functional cooperation and agile thinking. The Digital Officer contributes in both the strategic and operational approach to digitalisation. The role works close to management with the expectation to both take on a big mandate and to guide and inspire everyone around. The role is exceptionally wide, and covers:
- Executing on the digital roadmap in terms of data, analytics, tools, methods and capabilities
- Guiding our development of ways of working to take advantage of Agile and Digital methods, as well as AI and ML
- Driving the digital transformation of business processes
- Representing Trucks in cross-functional forums, e.g. Scania Data Board to secure that data is made accessible, well-structured and ready for us to use
- Taking an active role in the Digital Officer network to drive the overall Scania digital acceleration, and make this network accessible to Scania Trucks
- Acting as sponsor and coach in digital development initiatives, both for our BI developers and when we act as business owners to development done in other organisations
- Leading the cross functional Trucks Digitalisation Team, with ambassadors from all departments
Who You Are
To be successful, you bring energy and a dare-to-try approach.
- You have proven success from leading and implementing change management projects linked to digitalisation, either from a consultancy, large/mid-sized industry or tech company
- You are good at creating and encouraging collaboration around you
- You can communicate both on a strategic level with senior management and on an operational level, coaching and supporting people around you
- You are pedagogical, humble and highly motivated to drive deliveries and create lasting results as a team
- You have a relevant knowledge in solution architecture and IT landscape as well as data management and warehouse platform, enough to coach people around you
- You have an entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach – design thinking and co-creation have been part of your previous work tasks
- You have the ability to develop governance structures and lead to decision until the structure is in place
On a personal level you strive to build wide contact networks with long term relationships through good collaboration, communication, structure and trust. A great passion for the success of Scania’s customers, flow thinking and for our ability to meet the Science Based Targets is a plus!
