As we continue to enhance our global data capabilities, we are looking for a dedicated Global P&C Data Collector to join our team and contribute to our journey towards data-driven excellence.
Role Summary
As a Global P&C Data Collector, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and managing workforce-related data from various geographic locations and multiple sources. You will act as a key link between local data analysts, the global Data Management team, and the global People Analytics team to ensure a comprehensive and accurate understanding of our workforce data. Your work will directly impact Scania’s ability to enhance its People & Culture strategies and make informed business decisions.
Your strong analytical skills and data expertise will be essential in maintaining the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of P&C-related data. You will play a crucial role in optimizing data collection processes, shaping reporting standards, and contributing to data governance frameworks.
Job Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management
- Ensure the availability and integrity of P&C-related data by utilizing data architecture knowledge and collection tools.
- Collect, consolidate, and format workforce-related data according to defined specifications and requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability while sharing data with authorized stakeholders.
Data Reporting
- Support P&C teams by providing clean and enriched data for reporting and analytics.
- Develop and share reports in various formats using multiple platforms and tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Data Engineering & Governance
- Design and implement data flow processes to improve data collection and management.
- Calibrate and modify data as needed to meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute to defining data governance policies and specifications for the Data Warehouse.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with P&C teams, data analysts, IT departments, and data experts to understand data needs and provide necessary support.
- Promote standardized work methods and continuous improvement activities in data collection and management.
- Share knowledge and best practices through established forums, tools, and learning channels at Scania.
Who You Are
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, HRIS, BI tools).
- Possess a solid understanding of business processes and their impact on workforce data and analytics.
- Knowledgeable about data models, architectures, and governance structures relevant to People Analytics and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and can present complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and ethical behavior in handling sensitive workforce data.
- Committed to fostering a culture of learning, development, and continuous improvement.
- Higher education or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience working with workforce-related data in a global or multi-regional context.
- Fluent in English.
